The Log Cabin

"My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my hope is from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my refuge; I will not be shaken. My salvation and my glory rest in God. The word selah repeatedly appears in the book of Psalms and is most likely a musical term inviting the singer to stop, rest, and listen. Those beautiful words are very elusive in our world today.

Church Venture Northwest offers pastors and their families a place to stop, rest and listen to the voice of the Lord. The Log Cabin is nestled on the outskirts of Camp Tadmor and provides a relaxing place away from the hustle and bustle of ministry. It is completely renovated with an ample living space, kitchen, two bathrooms, washer and dryer, and heat and AC. The only amenities not available are TV and Wi-Fi, which is intentional so you and your family can completely disconnect. The Log Cabin will serve as a gift to the pastors in our Covenant Community. It will be available as a free stay, with only a small cleaning fee. This is just a way to show our appreciation for your service and support the need for rest and renewal so you can return to ministry refreshed and rejuvenated.

What is Provided

• Bedding for all 4 beds, 2 Full and 2 Twin
• There is a couch that converts to a bed - linens will need to be brought in if needed.
• Washer and dryer with detergent
• Kitchen stocked with utensils, pots, pans, and dishes
• Dish and hand soap
• Towels
• Fire pit with wood

What is NOT Provided

• Toiletries IE: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash
• Food - All food needs to be brought in.
• TV or Internet. Substituted with a Record Player, Books, Board Games, Good Views, and Great Conversations
